Frequently Asked Questions

How are vendor dues priced?

Vendor dues are tiered by company annual revenue: $495/yr (under $1M), $1,495/yr ($1M–$10M), $3,500/yr ($10M–$50M), $7,500/yr (over $50M). This mirrors how peer trade associations like TIA and Auto Care Association price vendor membership. Founding Vendors (first 25 only) lock $995/yr for 3 years regardless of revenue. The base fee covers your directory listing, inclusion in the member discount portal, one newsletter feature, and exhibitor/co-marketing access — add-ons priced separately.

Does Mechanics Alliance vet vendor partners before approving them?

Yes. We review every vendor application to ensure the company, product, or service is a genuine fit for our member community. We don't accept partners whose offerings would not benefit mobile mechanics or who can't provide a meaningful member discount or value-add.

What kind of discount do I need to offer members?

There's no fixed minimum, but we recommend at least 10% off standard pricing or a meaningful exclusive offer (free trial period, extended warranty, bundled deal). The more compelling the member benefit, the more prominently it will be featured.

How quickly will I see results?

Results vary by category and offer. Newsletter sponsorships drive immediate awareness; directory listings build steady inbound over time; founding-vendor positioning compounds as the membership scales. Mechanics Alliance shares newsletter open rates, directory traffic, and member-engagement data directly with partners — no marketing theater.
