The people building the professional home for mobile mechanics.
Mechanics Alliance was founded in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by two people who saw a real gap in the industry and decided to do something about it.
Elijah is the founder of Commoner Apps LLC, the Texas-based software company behind Trackara Pro — the business-management platform built specifically for mobile mechanics. Building Trackara is what surfaced the institutional gap Mechanics Alliance exists to close, and he brings that perspective — software founder rather than mechanic — to how the association is structured. Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Hannah co-founded Mechanics Alliance alongside Elijah and works on the association's direction and operations from the same Dallas-Fort Worth home base. Building Mechanics Alliance is a family project as much as a company project.
Mechanics Alliance is recruiting for the roles below. If you've spent time in automotive, trade associations, technology, or advocacy and want to help build a real institution — get in touch.
Leading resource development, webinar programming, and education initiatives for members.
Building the chapter network, Discord community, and regional meetup program across the country.
Managing vendor relationships, group purchasing programs, and insurance partnerships.
Mechanics Alliance was started by software founders who came to the segment by building for it. Trackara Pro — the business-management platform Commoner Apps built specifically for mobile mechanics — gave us a daily window into what mobile operators actually need and what institutional support they don't have. Tech founders building infrastructure for an industry isn't a new pattern; it's how Brex got built for fintech, how Faire got built for retail. Mechanics Alliance is that move for mobile automotive service.
We built what we wished existed. And we're building the team to make it last.
We're looking for passionate industry professionals to help shape the Alliance's future.
